Each student engagement programmes has a unique brand such as Be The Change for the University of Bristol. We recognise the strength of the student community and it’s important students know their programme is specifically designed for their benefit. This goes beyond just a logo, to customised behaviours and each university get its own unique app and web platform.
Jump offers universities a complete sustainability and wellbeing engagement solution for their students. All content, design and running of the programme is completed by our expert team of dedicated engagement managers.
The student behaviour activities will be built around your University priorities. Jump’s flexibility means we can introduce behaviours at specific times, such as Christmas Switch Off competitions and for students in halls donating stuff to charity at the end of the academic year.
Your students will be motivated through fun, friendly competition. They’ll want to see their department, halls of residence and other teams at the top of the leader board and we provide aspirational, tailored prizes to meet your budget for winning teams and top performing individuals.
Students are at university because they want to learn. By understanding the power of their positive actions, we see students motivated to keep striving harder. We’ll convert the impact of everyday actions to relatable things such as CO2 avoided, money saved, calories burnt and trees saved.
As part of the Jump service, your students will get a suite of engaging communications. From bespoke monthly newsletters, to social media, an online calendar, and campaigns such as double points during Go Green Week.
You will have access online to a secure suite of real-time data metrics so you can see how your student engagement programme is performing. Metrics include participants per team, most popular behaviour modules, and weekly engagement levels.
Your Jump engagement manager will fix regular reviews and work with you to deliver high ongoing engagement. Our contact centre will be on hand to support your students and we’re proud that 100% of Jump clients give us a 5 star rating for client support.
Since joining Jump fresh out of university back in 2013 I’ve seen many changes in the way we communicate – both as a company and more widely within the sustainability industry. The current shift of sustainability to the mainstream is accelerating at a pace and it’s exciting to be part of this step change. The insight I get from individual participants in our client programmes is invaluable as it helps me figure out the best way to get our messages across.
My team and I use digital communications to recognise individual and team success, providing information in a fun, meaningful way that encourages people to take action. It’s about creating a feedback loop where people see that their actions are having an impact and this is very powerful in creating positive change within an organisation.
As CEO of Jump I lead a talented team of professionals committed to sustainability and wellness. For much of my 35 year career I’ve been immersed in environmental issues, particularly how to engage people in practical action. Previously I built Trees for Cities from start-up to a global, award-winning charity as its founding chief executive, and I loved developing new initiatives such as The Edible Playground and the Million Trees Campaign.
In 2011 I set up Jump as I felt organisations large and small want to motivate action amongst their people around wellbeing and the planet, and a professional team dedicated to this purpose would help them accelerate their journey. I’m also proud to chair the Reward Gateway Foundation which supports organisations and projects that address inequality and disadvantage, with the ultimate mission of making the world a better, fairer, safer and more equal place to work.
